Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how modcov collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use its public AI tools, account-based workspace, and related services.

Information We Collect

We collect the information needed to provide the Service, including:

  • Account information, such as your email address, authentication identifiers, and organization or team membership. modcov supports email login, magic links, and passkeys through Better Auth.
  • Content and settings you submit to AI tools, including text, images, documents, and audio, together with generated results and tool-run history for signed-in accounts.
  • Files and generated media that you choose to store through your account.
  • Billing information associated with credit purchases, subscriptions, or lifetime plans, such as transaction references, amounts, currency, and plan or credit records. Complete payment card numbers are handled by Stripe and are not stored by modcov.
  • Session and preference information, including the login session cookie, the NEXT_LOCALE language preference, and the guest preview session identifier.
  • Messages you send to our support address.

Guest preview runs submit text settings only. They do not upload files from your local device.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide public AI tools and the signed-in SaaS workspace;
  • authenticate users and manage accounts, organizations, and teams;
  • process tool requests, return results, and maintain account history and stored media;
  • administer credits, plans, purchases, and refunds of credits for failed runs;
  • preserve the security and integrity of the Service, enforce applicable rules, and comply with legal obligations; and
  • answer support requests and communicate about the Service.

AI Processing & Third-Party Providers

To generate a requested result, modcov transmits the input and settings required for that request to third-party AI model providers. Depending on the tool, the input may include text, images, documents, or audio. Those providers process the submitted material to produce an output, which is then returned through the Service.

Do not submit content that you are not authorized to process. Third-party AI model providers process data under their applicable service and privacy terms. modcov does not claim that AI output will be accurate, complete, or unique.

Payments

Stripe processes payments for prepaid Credits, subscriptions, and lifetime plans. Payment details are submitted to Stripe, and modcov does not store complete payment card numbers. We maintain the limited purchase, plan, credit, and transaction records necessary to provide paid features, reconcile payments, process eligible refunds under the published refund policy, and meet legal obligations.

Cookies

modcov uses a limited set of cookies or similar identifiers:

  • a session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated;
  • NEXT_LOCALE to remember the selected language; and
  • a guest preview session identifier to support preview runs without an account.

Analytics are first-party and self-hosted. modcov does not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Storage & Security

Uploaded files and generated media are stored in S3-compatible object storage. Account media is private and is made available through signed access only to the account owner. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect stored information and restrict unauthorized access. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Guest preview runs do not upload local files; only their text settings are submitted for processing.

Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain account information and Service data for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet applicable legal obligations. When you delete your account, modcov first removes your AI data, including history, media, inputs, and outputs. Billing records that must be retained by law are kept only with the minimum required fields. We do not retain AI history or media merely as part of that legal billing retention.

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of your personal information. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

You can use available account controls or contact us at support@next3d.ai to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be retained where the law requires it.

Children's Privacy

The Service is intended only for people who are at least 13 years old or have reached the minimum legal age required in their location, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly offer the Service to children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to this requirement, contact us so that we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or applicable requirements. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Any updated policy will be posted on this page.
